Location: Remote, with regular travel to our projects. The candidate will have access to an office space in London, and ability to work with team members in Manchester and the West of England (likely Bristol).

The successful candidate will work with our Visual Lead to develop this content. This role is offered on a two year fixed term contract.

Youth Network Officer (West) ​
Salary: £27,000
Working hours: Full time (4 day week)
Contract type: Two years fixed term contract
Location: Remote, based in the West of England or South Wales, with travel required to sites in these areas

​Youngwilders are looking for a Youth Network Officer to help us restore nature across the West of England and South Wales and to involve young people (aged 18-30) in our nature recovery projects across the region, and in the nature recovery movement more broadly.
​
As the Youth Network Officer, you will lead on bringing together young people at our nature recovery projects in the region, providing young people with educational activities to help them learn more about nature and how to protect it, and you will help deliver practical nature activities at our youth-led nature recovery projects. You will work closely with the Ecology Officer, and the wider Youngwilders Youth Network Team based in south and north of England.

You will also lead regional access and outreach, attending partner events, contacting local groups, distributing materials, and actively reaching communities and individuals who are currently underrepresented in nature recovery.

Youngwilders are looking for an Ecology Officer to help us restore nature across the West of England and South Wales and to involve young people (aged 18-30) in our nature recovery projects across the region, and in the nature recovery movement more broadly.

As the Ecology Officer, you will lead the regional delivery of our youth-led nature recovery projects. This includes managing the ecological monitoring programme across our projects and developing and delivering nature recovery project plans. You will use this knowledge to educate and mentor young people who take part in our projects, and will help to deliver practical nature activities through regular youth action days.You will work closely with the Youth Network Officer, and the wider Youngwilders Ecology Team based in south and north of England.
